Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Movie Review

The film begins with an attack on a parcel and Freddy and Rocky’s ridiculous attempt to become like ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. The heroines, Captain Misha (played by Manushi Chhillar) and tech genius Pam (played by Alaya F), talk very fast without pausing. But the story gets interesting in the second half when it turns into a bit of science fiction. We find out who the bad guy Kabir (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran) is and why he is angry towards the country. The movie talks about cool things like artificial intelligence and cloning, but it doesn’t seem like they did enough research, so it feels a bit empty.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar wanted to make a big film on Eid, but it does not seem very new. The action scenes are good but nothing we haven’t seen before. Akshay Kumar acts as usual, and Tiger Shroff is funny.

Manushi Chhillar does well in her action sequences but she needs to work on her expressions. Alaya F is okay, but Prithviraj Sukumaran steals the show as the bad guy.

Marcin Laskiewicz’s camerawork captures beautiful locations like Abu Dhabi and Jordan. The songs, especially ‘Mast Malang Jhoom’ and the title track, are popular. But overall, Akshay and Tiger could not give their fans the big film they expected on Eid.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Story

The story seems a bit hollow. Freddy and Rocky, two tough soldiers, are kicked out of the army for not following orders. But we don’t know why until later. Freddy works in a desert oil mine, while Rocky rescues a cat in Delhi.

Before all that, there’s a big action scene to show just how amazing Freddy and Rocky are. They save the family of the Indian Ambassador in Kabul from terrorists and blow up the place, also killing a senior terrorist.

Years later, they are called back into action when a bad guy threatens India with a super weapon. Their boss thinks they’re still the best, but someone else wants to replace them with a clone. The bad guy’s plan involves brainwashing soldiers to fight for him.

There’s a lot of talk about loyalty to the country and doing the right thing, but the bad guy’s plan involves using high-tech soldiers. Two women, Captain Misha and Pam, join the fight. Whereas, Sonakshi Sinha is playing the role of a brave army officer.

Despite all this, attempts at humor fall flat, such as when Pam makes fun of wearing makeup during a dangerous mission. The film tries to be a big action blockbuster, but it feels hollow and isn’t much fun.
