Pragya Jaiswal is an Indian model and actress known for her work in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. She has loved acting and drama since childhood. In 2008, she participated in the Femina Miss India beauty pageant and won several titles including Miss Fresh Face, Miss Dancing Queen and Miss Friend Earth.
Pragya made her debut in Tamil cinema with the thriller film ‘Viraattu’ directed by Kumar T. The film released on 21 March 2014, in which Pragya played the role of Mavi. She starred alongside Sujeev, Erica Fernandes and Manobala. Her performance was well received by the audience. She also played the same role in the Telugu version of the film ‘Dega’.

Pragya started her career in modeling when she was still in college. She participated in modeling shows and won the Symbiosis Cultural Award for her contribution to art and culture. She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Tamil film Virattu. In 2015, she acted in the Telugu film Mirchi Lanti Kurradu.
Her first audition was for the role of Krish in Gabbar Is Back, but she did not get the part. However, she soon landed a role in Kanche. Pragya also starred in the 2017 film Jaya Janki Nayaka alongside Belamkonda Srinivas, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jagapathi Babu, where she played the role of Falguni.
