After “PT Sir” was released, film critic Sugumar Srinivasan reviewed it on X (formerly Twitter). He said that the first half is entertaining and the second half is full of suspense. Sugumar praised many aspects of the film, such as Hiphop Tamizha’s performance, strong background music and songs, interval scenes, courtroom drama and the surprising twist in the end. He also highlighted Anikha’s role and called the song “Achamillai” a song that thrilled him. Sugumar called “PT Sir” a superhit entertainer.
