Shaitaan Movie Review & Story
In the supernatural thriller “Shaitan”, director Vikas Bahl crafts a tale of suspense and horror that keeps the audience engaged without resorting to cheap scares.
The story revolves around Kabir (Ajay Devgan) and his family, whose peaceful life is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious stranger named Vanraj Kashyap (R Madhavan). Vanraj has a sinister power over Kabir’s daughter Jhanvi (Janki Bodiwala), leading to dangerous situations for the family.
What sets “Satan” apart is its ability to create tension without relying on special effects. Instead, the focus is on the eerie atmosphere and great performances from the cast.
Madhavan shines as the evil Vanraj, while Devgan gives a powerful performance as the father fighting to protect his family. Bodiwala has influenced the character of Jhanvi under the influence of Vanraj.
Though the pace can falter at times, the film maintains a sense of unease throughout, thanks to the cinematography and music. Despite its flaws, “Shaitan” delivers an unsettling experience that leaves a lasting impression on audiences.
