Randeep Hooda made his first film as a director ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ and it is being liked a lot at the box office. After the first weekend, people seem to like it.
The film earned around Rs 1.05 crore on the first day. But on the second day, it performed even better and earned around Rs 2.25 crore across all languages.
More people came to see it on Saturday, especially in the evening and night.
Overall, the film has earned around Rs 3.30 crore so far, which is good news for its success.
The film also stars Randeep Hooda in the role of the famous freedom fighter. It has cost about Rs 20 crore to make it.
Ankita Lokhande, another actress in the film, decided not to take any money for her role to support producer Sandeep Singh.
In an interview, Lokhande said, “Sandeep Singh asked me to work in the film. He is a good friend and I wanted to help him as he struggled to raise money for the film.”
Randeep Hooda not only directed the film but also acted in it. Ankita Lokhande and Amit Sial are also with him in the film. It is a joint production of Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Randeep Hooda, and Yogesh Rahar, with additional collaborations with Roopa Pandit, Sam Khan, Anwar Ali, and Panchali Chakraborty.
