Abraham Ozler is a crime thriller Indian film. It was directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and written by Randhir Krishnan. The film stars Mammootty, Anaswara Rajan and Anoop Menon in lead roles along with Jayaram. It tells the story of ACP Abraham Ozler investigating the death of an IT employee and trying to catch a serial killer.
The film’s journey began when director John Manthrikkal shared a story with Thomas. Thomas liked it and decided to direct it. Filming began in May 2023 in locations such as Thrissur and Palakkad. It ended in November. The music was by Midhun Mukundan, and the camera work was by Theni Easwar. Shameer Muhammad edited the film.
Originally scheduled to be released on 25 December 2023, it was pushed to 11 January 2024. Critics praised the acting, music and technical aspects but criticized the screenplay and direction. However, it performed well at the box office and grossed approximately ₹40.53 crore worldwide. It became Jayaram’s most successful film till date.

Abraham Ozler Movie Story and Review
In the film “Abraham Ozler”, Jayaram gives a strong performance as a determined policeman dealing with personal conflicts. Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the film keeps the audience guessing till the end.
Mammootty appears in a small role which adds excitement, while Saiju Kurup’s character despite being important does not get much screen time. Anaswara has played her role as a college girl well, but considering the flashbacks in the film, her role could have been bigger.
Despite some issues with dialogue and music placement, the film has managed to keep the audience engaged with its mysterious plot and unexpected twists. With some editing improvements, “Abraham Ozler” could have been even more captivating.
