Emergency is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language historical drama movie directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut. The screenplay is by Ritesh Shah, based on a story by Ranaut. It’s about the Indian Emergency and stars Ranaut as former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. The cast includes Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman in important roles.
Filming started in July 2022 and finished in January 2023. Sadly, it’s the last movie for Satish Kaushik, who passed away on March 9, 2023. The movie was supposed to come out in theaters on November 24, 2023, but it got delayed.

The new teaser and release date of Kangana Ranaut’s new film ‘Emergency’ has been revealed. He has shared this on his social media today. The film will now hit the screens on June 14, 2024.
The teaser reminds us of June 25, 1975, when Indira Gandhi declared an emergency in India. Kangana’s voice and look are perfect in the teaser, which gives us a glimpse of the intense story. Anupam Kher is also looking strong in the role of Jai Prakash Narayan.
Kangana shared a new poster on Instagram, inviting everyone to uncover the story of India’s darkest times. In the film, she is playing the role of the fierce Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
