Hanuman director Prashant Verma recently shared some details about the cost of the film and how it works. In an interview, he said that sometimes he spends more money than planned, but he makes sure that nothing is wasted.
Hanuman cost Rs 40 crore to make, excluding the money spent on advertising and marketing. Varma joked how his team teased him to praise him for making a successful movie on a small budget, even though it was usually higher than the budget. He said, “People think I’m good at doing low-budget films, but I’m actually known for increasing the budget of my films.”
